Sadly, the server went down yesterday for a couple of hours. I am not sure for how long it happened. According to the company they were doing server maintanance but never informed me of it. I am still on the lookout as to what's going to happen. Everything has been backed-up though.

  • I added a 100% Zao (However we still need to tweak a couple of more things so ZAO is closed for now)
  • Added 8.54 Items File, with all the new latest items. (If any items have bugs please email webmaster@playtibia.com ASAP, its a new file so we already seen a couple of bugs ones so we may fix it)
  • Added a lot of things to the map, and as to spawns as well.

    7 Feb 2010 - Server Maintenance
    Server will be closed, we're doing some maintenance work on it. Please bare with us in 2 hours we'll be back up :) Someone has been crashing the server so we are fixing all the scripts and we have found the players who crashed and duped items. We'll be now taking care of them. -Update- We have caught some of the dupers and deleted their account completely off the database. Also went ahead and deleted all other duped or bugged money that they made. The server will be going up soon we're almost done with the update.

    The account creation part of the website seems to be down. For all those new players trying to create an account I am sorry for the inconvenience please bare with me while we try to get this problem resolved.

    La parte de creación de la cuenta de la página web parece estar abajo. Para todos los nuevos jugadores tratando de crear una cuenta Lamento las molestias por favor desnudo conmigo mientras tratamos de llegar a este problema resuelto.

    PlayTibia Logo Contest

    Calling all web-designers and photoshop enthusiasts! The PlayTibia.com staff is on the look out for a logo! The contest is the following. We're looking for our first logo, we want something AWESOME, and very unique.

    Rules:

  • The logo must contain the words PlayTibia.com in it, and it will be possibly used for banners, advertisements on other sites, and in our new site design (coming soon).
  • The logo must not be copied from another website and must be something original also NOT infringement any copyright laws.
  • Any and all inquiries reguarding this contest must be serious ones, for any questions contact me at webmaster@playtibia.com

    • Reward
    The winner of the contest which will be the logo we decide to use, will win 50 shop points and 2 million in-game cash.

    I will start taking logos as of now. Please email all logos to webmaster@playtibia.com. The last date of the contest and the date I decide to choose which logo wins will be on the 4th. If by any chance I receive a perfect logo before that date I hold the rights to end the contest early.

    Fixed Quests

  • Banshee Quest works 100%
  • Inquisition Quest works 100% (we tested it, now you may kill the demon boss and the teleport will appear.
  • Demon Oak Quest fixed (Royal xbow - spellbook)

    • Shop Related

  • All Donator items were fixed, the speeds, attacks, defense and etc all are acurate to the actual item. Including the 3+ sword and etc
  • Holy bow was given a huge damage boost, and also Holy Arrows were crated specially for the bow.
    NPCs that sell holy arrows:
    Vicent (Yala)
    Edoch (Dara)
    Daria (Ank)
    Willard (Edron)
    They cost 150k for every 100 arrows.
  • We took out the descriptions on the items it was getting too bulky
  • We also fixed the Unban Option and the Red Skull Remove, keep in mind it doesn't remove the frags just the red skull and the timer.
  • We added new items to the shop includin backpacks that hold 100+ items, check it out.

    • We've also made many other small changes.
